Nytt GLOBAL GRANT prosjekt i Harstad Rotaryklubb

Sammen med tre andre klubber og god støtte fra TRF

Global Grant prosjekt godkjent

Vi er i gang! Vårt Global Grant #278329 for brannskadde barn i Etiopia er godkjent av The Rotary Foundation.

Prosjektets mål er å anskaffe medisinsk operasjonsutstyr for en ny brannskadeavdeling ved Kidus Petros Specialized Hospital (KPSH) i Addis Abeba. Utstyret og opplæring i avdelingen skal drives av vår samarbeidspartner gjennom mange år, Childrens Burn & Wound Care Foundation (CBWCF).

Prosjektet vil være et samarbeid mellom rotaryklubbene Harstad, Notodden, Askøy og Hawassa som vertsklubb i Etiopia.

Total kostnadsramme for prosjektet er USD141,900 hvorav distriktene 2275, 2250, 2290 gjennom sine DDF distriktsmidler og TRF sitt World Fund bidrar med totalt USD 81,000. En stor takk til alle som har bidratt i søknadsprosessen! Nå starter arbeidet.

Global Grant Project Approved

We are underway! Our Global Grant #278329 for child burn victims in Ethiopia has been approved by The Rotary Foundation.

The project's goal is to procure surgical equipment for a new burn care unit at Kidus Petros Specialized Hospital (KPSH) in Addis Ababa. The equipment, training and the unit will be operated by our long-standing partner, the Children's Burn & Wound Care Foundation (CBWCF).

The project is a collaboration between the Rotary Clubs of Harstad, Notodden, Askøy, and Hawassa, which serves as the host club in Ethiopia.

The total project budget is USD 141,900, of which Rotary Districts 2275, 2250, and 2290, through their District Designated Funds (DDF), together with The Rotary Foundation’s World Fund, are contributing a total of USD 81,000.
